UrbanCribs Limited is an innovative architecture and integrated design practice. We have pioneered a sustainable approach to architecture through a strikingly wide range of work from urban masterplans, public infrastructure, airports, civic and cultural buildings, offices and workplaces to private houses and product design Based in Abuja.
From the beginning, we have pioneered a sustainable approach to design through work that spans the spectrum from masterplans to furniture. Our approach is sensitive to location and culture, often combining the latest advances in building technology with techniques drawn from vernacular tradition; and we harness the skills, enthusiasm and knowledge of integrated design teams, clients, and communities to create inspirational environments.
By working together creatively from the start of a project, architects, engineers, and project managers combine their knowledge to devise integrated, sustainable design solutions. From appointment to completion, the design teams are supported by numerous in-house disciplines, including project management and a construction review panel; and to ensure consistency and personal service, the same core team sees a project through from beginning to end.

Architecture & interior Design
Our architecture and interior design operation is driven by a belief that the quality of our surroundings has a direct influence on the quality of our lives, whether at home, in the workplace, the cultural building or the public realm. The same thinking applies at the larger scale of infrastructure, whether that is an airport, a metro system, a city centre, or a regional plan. Architectural and interior design in that sense is all-embracing, ranging from the functional and environmental performance of a building to a concern for its physical and cultural context.
Real Estate
Our real estate practice was birthed from the need to bring affordable and functional housing to people of different works of life. Certified by the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), urban cribs aims to provide homes that are not only functional, but also meet the needs of the users’ overall wellbeing. Our team of very competent and professional experts work hand in hand to ensure the development of property meets the functionality, budgetary, and luxury needs of the people who purchase and/or use our homes.
Engineering
To achieve a sustainable built environment, engineering needs to be integrated from the outset of the design process. The team works on projects, consultancy, and competitions, bringing expertise and guarding the quality of the design principles, right through to the end of the project. Working alongside design teams in an open, collaborative environment, the groups strengthen the studio’s environmental agenda, capabilities, and commitment to integrated design, hence leading to more innovative solutions.
Consultancy
The first step in the design process is to work with clients to help them evaluate their needs. This dialogue can often lead to new ways of thinking and applies across the spectrum: from the home to the workplace, to schools, hospitals, cultural and civic buildings. From strategic brief development to detailed spatial analysis, our workplace consultancy helps us to develop solutions for a wide range of buildings and masterplans. We also play a post-occupancy role, helping occupants to enjoy the full potential of their new building; and we conduct user surveys in order to learn from practical experience.
Project Management
